Bells to Blue Hole: Dahab’s Classic Advanced Shore Dive

Bells to Blue Hole begins at a narrow crack in the reef north of the Blue Hole. Divers descend through the Bells and emerge onto a steep outer wall, then follow the reef toward the Blue Hole and cross the shallow Saddle when conditions and the guide’s plan allow.
The tight entry rewards calm buoyancy and tidy trim. Once on the wall there may be no visual bottom, so depth can creep up while the diver is watching coral or framing a photograph. Computer checks, gas awareness and buddy contact are more important here than collecting footage.
Wide-angle photographers love the wall and open blue water, but the first visit should be treated as a dive before it becomes a photo shoot. Task loading is real.
This route is commonly sold for advanced divers, but certification alone is not the full test. Recent experience, sea conditions and comfort with a wall dive all matter. Ask the local dive professional whether the route fits your actual skills that day.
