A Seven-Day South Sinai Adventure for Divers and Hikers

A strong seven-day South Sinai trip needs recovery time, not seven consecutive headline activities.
Days 1–2: settle into Dahab, complete a check dive and choose Lighthouse, Eel Garden or another site suited to the group. Leave space for the promenade and an early night.
Days 3–4: plan one signature dive day—perhaps Canyon or Bells/Blue Hole for suitably experienced divers—then a slower coastal or desert day such as Wadi Gnai or the walk toward Ras Abu Galum.
Day 5: travel to Saint Catherine and rest before a mountain objective. Days 6–7: choose Mount Sinai for history and sunrise, or Mount St Catherine for a tougher full-day hike, then return without squeezing in another major activity.
Do not schedule a high ascent immediately after deep or repetitive diving. Discuss safe surface intervals with the dive professional, and let weather, experience and recovery change the plan.
